Short summary
We developed a method for speciated and quantitative measurement of peroxy radicals formed during the breakdown of aromatic hydrocarbons. These measurements revealed missing reaction pathways in current chemical mechanisms. Our findings help improve predictions of air quality and deepen understanding of chemical processes in the atmosphere.
