Short summary
In this paper, we use satellite observations to study the relationships between profiles of clouds and profiles of wind from June to October 2020 around India. We show that the wind can be modified by 3 m s-1 because of the presence of deep convective clouds that spread out between 14 and 17 km of altitude. We also found that cirrus clouds between 14 and 17 km are more frequent over the Arabian Sea because of fast westward winds.
