Short summary
This study considers dust, bioaerosols, marine organic aerosol, and black carbon as ice nucleating particles in mixed-phase clouds in a global climate-aerosol model and evaluates the number concentrations, spatial distributions, and cloud radiative effects of ice nucleating particles from the multiple aerosol species. The results highlight the importance of including ice nucleating particles from multiple aerosol species in climate models for better understanding aerosol-cloud interactions.
